On Board Charger
« on: June 25, 2009, 02:56:52 PM »
Need some more help and input.  Boat has four batteries in it.  Two starters on a switch that allows for individual battery or both at the same time.  Two batteries in series for the trolling motor.  I need a four bank charger correct?  Or can I use a three bank and put the two starting batteries onto "dual" with a single battery connected to the charger and a bank each for the trolling motor batteries?

FYI..ProMariner said that the best way would be a four bank, but a three bank would work.  It will just take longer for the two starters to charge.  Will order up a three bank and an extension lead.
