I know the area, my sister had the same tag last year! Excited to get back out there hiking around in the sand chasing big bucks!!! Would also like to meet the other tag holders for the area!

 :chuckle: I tell them it’s because I do all their app submittals so they are just taking my hunts from me.

Congrats to your wife and great y'all have some very recent intel to go off.

My dad has this tag too. He's a lucky one and drew with only 6 points.....he also hunted it extensively during the 2023 season on an incentive tag from Sept to Dec.

Thanks to good gouge from kind folks on here, monthly pre-season scouting trips, and a bunch of hunting holding out for a monster, we learned a lot about the unit but came away without a harvest. I had a ton of fun going along with him and will burn my vacation doing it again this season.  He's now 75, a pacemaker later and is part robot with metal rods in a leg, but am hoping this knowledge pays off as he's planning to kill the first 'good' one he sees.

PM and we can exchange info.
Take one new person out hunting every year.
