Antlerless Moose more than once?
« on: May 16, 2025, 11:23:37 AM »
Just curious, has anyone drawn the Antlerless Moose permit more than once here in Washington state?

My daughter drew a couple years ago. At her young age she has a good chance of drawing again at some point.

Odds of drawing once aren't good.

Not good at all, was just curious if we had anyone that beat those odds.

I wonder how many hunters (if any) have killed all the legal big game animals in Washington: deer: whitetail, mule, blacktail; elk: Rocky Mountain and Roosevelt; bighorn sheep, mountain goat, moose, and black bear.

I have been lucky enough to draw and take both Bull Moose and Antlerless here in Washington.

Just need Rocky MT Elk, and Big Horn to complete that list. On a different note, have plenty of Cow Moose points, but not sure if I'll put in for a tag. The low numbers of Moose in the NE corner and high predator population might just keep putting in for points for a few more years and see if they actually do anything about predators.  :twocents:

Not me, I’ve never applied. Never had the urge to want to kill a cow moose

I am short the goat which isn’t going to happen since I can’t climb a goat mountain anymore. With 27 points I am not applying this year for the first time in that many years. Everybody elses chances just went up for the 7 tags I guess.

No kidding and there shouldn’t be a single cow moose tag given out given the state of predation here in WA

Please keep applying, there will be someone that will help get you in there with horses or something. I’m sure with a tag like that plenty of random strangers would be willing to help out.
