buck I was targeting is officially dead. A friend of a friend found it dead elk hunting . Looks like it died just outta velvet.

ehd. worst year at the house we have seen in 9 years. We usually get somewhere between 8-16 bucks through in Nov and Dec. this year was 1 5x5. 3 spikes

We were slow, I had a cougar in my lap that killed a button buck and cached it 100yds from my tree lol. My son saw 3 or 4 racked bucks but wolves were thick to the point a tribe member had traps all around. No bigguns spotted. I think lack of snow played a factor as well.

Totally agree.   :yeah:
It was a lot worse than most realize.
Had a few bucks go M.I.A This year myself.
I also concur a lot of spikes made it.
