The coho that are around are even smaller than normal. Stick to the bubble for the chance at a big king.

Completely different. Same species, but not same fish. The resident coho are the best eating fish we have.

They can be deeper than you think for coho. Don’t be afraid to go 80 - 120 on the wire this time of year.  I got a few as the second fish during the blackmouth season, but have been focused on the Bubble in June. Will switch to coho in July.

I fished MA10 for coho on Thursday and Sunday.  Took an hour or so to find the bait (and fish) both days, but then went pretty quick once I found them.  Thursday they were at 80', Sunday I got them at 120' after a later start (9:30a).  The fish are right on the bait.

About 3 lbs.  Some a little bigger, some a little smaller.

Starting to get the September itch for ocean coho again.  Anyone hear of any non resident coho coming down through 7 and 9 into 10?  Thanks!

Not many Coho of any kind showing up in the counts, but lots of pinks:

There are 4-10x more pinks kept in 8-2 than coho.
