Maple creek outfitters

Anyone know anything about these outfitters located on the peninsula? They only have a few pictures of success and I haven’t found any reviews. Does anyone have experiences good or bad and or harvest pictures to share

Never heard of them, catering to non-residents, probably to not blow up their spots with people that can come back and hunt another time. No pricing listed that I saw, curious what they are charging for deer and elk.

Looks like deer is $2,500, archery and muzzleloader elk is $5,000, and rifle elk is $4,000.

In the Frequently Asked Questions this sounds a little weird:

We guarantee you will have a chance to hunt your chosen species, but it's your decision to take the shot. We cannot hunt the animal for you.

That is weird. The chance to hunt on a paid hunt should be 100 percent.
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.

They promote camping/rafting on their FB page. The only photo suggesting they are hunt guides is ONE photo with a loaded pack

Without hunting over bait I don't know how you could guarantee a shot opportunity. Hunting the OP is tough, especially if your client isn't in great shape. Also, not sure you can commercially guide operations on the timber companies up there unless you're leasing land. Good amounts of DNR but don't you need a license to run clients on USFS lands?

Their only success photos are of the owners with their own animals. I would need a lot of good references before I considered spending money on something like this, especially with the reputation a lot of these newer outfitters are getting.

I’m friends with the owners and they are good people.. Avid hunters that have a campground and do raft trips. Definitely don’t hunt over bait and probly only book hunts for the right situation they’re not going to give up their local spots they personally hunt..
