Drew Quality
« on: June 10, 2025, 08:13:52 PM »
After 22 years of putting in, finally drew my Quality tag. (1 permit) 49 degrees north late mule deer in the rut.
I’ve hunted this unit my whole life and seen monster mule deer staring at me while I’m hunting whitetail. Now I can actually pull the trigger. This was my last year putting in. I was going to get my Idaho residency next month, but now I’ll put it off.

Congratulations!!. I know exactly how you’re feeling. I drew the Aladdin quality mule deer rut tag this year with 22 points. Only one tag available. Same unit my cabin has been for decades. I would like to see any quality tagged deer for those NE units if anyone has pics.
Just one more day

That’s awesome, I’ve wondered what the quality is for mule deer there. How big of bucks have you seen?

I recall a few pictures on here over the years but not many.  I'd be looking for a buck that is heavy with good mass on a late tag up there.

I feel your pain ,seen a few dandy mule deer in the unit , during late WT. Had to let them walk out of my life forever.
Goodluck on the hunt!!!
