Colockum Archery Bull Tag
« on: June 11, 2025, 06:41:40 PM »
Couldn’t believe it when I checked my results yesterday, and see “SELECTED”. Seems like I’ve read this same kinda post for so many years and… Boom! My first quality tag! I’ve always enjoyed day dreaming while following other people’s posts, so figured I would share my own journey. Now time to earn this one.

Best east side tag, congrats!  Had 29 points last year when I tried to draw it, luck was on your side.

I drew it with 16. I know many more deserve it than me. Feel very fortunate and blessed.

Congrats, that should be a great hunt!  If you have the time to commit you should be able to get on some great bulls.  I hope to hear how it goes on here...I'll be heading in two months after you for an antlerless archery tag.

The best part is you get to start your hunt 5 days before the general season.

Yeah I plan on being up there the last couple days of August, and through the entire season. Gonna give this tag everything I got.

That is a bonus for sure. Last few days of August last year the bulls were fired up already, on the 30th I could have killed the bull I ended up getting on sept 12th he was fired up

Well my Fri/Sat scouting trip was a success. Amazing country. Saw 8 bulls and a herd of 102 cows (3 in the big herd were bulls - 5pt and 2 spikes).

Had this bull at 13 yards.
Aim small, miss small.
