Sorry to resurrect this but I actually drew a quality muzzy tag in Cowiche this year.  Its pretty much my home unit but have not been there the last two years due to other tags...  Question is? What's the deal with this gate?  I heard it may be open during hunting season?  also heard all recreation is locked out?  We have always utilized Nasty creek rd to set up camp on Reynolds.  Any info would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks all.
go around is the only solution.  Good luck

NWgunner, as of right now the gate is open (tongue cut off gate) but my guess at some point it will be fixed and locked again. No telling if it will stay that way but I wouldn't make all my plans for that area. Last year we got snowed out of there and ended up camping at the Cowichee feeding station and we were in elk everyday. This year should be better because I drew an archery cow tag. Good luck
