Had my nephew fishing with me quite a few years ago. Set him up jigging herring while I was after blackmouth. All of sudden he starts yelling Uncle Larry Uncle Larry !! I turn around and look and his pole is bent over double and bouncing around and he's hanging on and yelling!! :chuckle: :chuckle: Guessing a blackmouth grabbed his herring and took off with it!! :chuckle: Fun times!!

Jigging herring next to the dock in Petersburg last week.  Salted them all night, and turned them into bigger fish.
Grandkids LOVE jigging herring!
