Back in the day we used to be able to hunt Subbase Bangor antlerless deer archery.
I was hunting the Annex area end of first week in Dec and shot a big antlerless deer I thought was a doe
It turned out to be a buck that had already shed
You were required to contact the base biologist for a tooth extraction and  tissue sampling
Got info back it was 16 years old
