Like others have said, It depends on what I am wearing. In cooler weather where I can wear bulkier clothes or a long shirt, my go to is a H & K P30 SK 9mm with two extra mags on a belt holster. In warm weather where I wear a lot of cargo shorts and t-shirts, I carry a Walther P22. It is thin and fits in my back pocket along with a couple extra mags, which are also small. Many will say a 22 is too small, but I shoot this one well and ammo is very cheap, so you can practice a lot.

Glock 43x with Shield Magazine. 15 in the mag and 1 in the chamber. Pocket cary in a kydex holster. If really hot and wearing the wrong shorts I use a fanny pack. Fanny pack also has room for two 30 round mags.

I carry a M&P shield for a pocket gun and have a Sig P238 for the summer.... I won't carry in my pocket unless there is some kind of "holster" to cover the trigger ... really worries me.

Hoppe's or Otis dry lube keeps those cargo shorts from getting oil stains.

Just to add, usually got to clean my pocket gun once a month, attract some lint even in the pocket holster. Might be less of an issue for revolver guys .

I had the same issue with a revolver, lint gets in between the cylinder and frame as well as the trigger.  I never had it not fire, even intentionally leaving it in there just to see but I would guess it would happen to any gun that spends a lot of hours in pockets.

MP shields are sketchy little things - my wife has one and it is 100% impossible to keep the magazine in it when she carries it in her gun purse

My go to for the pocket is a BFR 12 inch in 50AE, if you're gonna be packin' :chuckle: you might as well look like you're really packin'! :chuckle:

For pocket carry revolvers the hammerless J-Frame S&W's or Ruger LCR IMHO are both about as good as it gets.  I've had a couple 442's and they were great light little revolvers.  Currently have two Ruger LCR's one is a 38spl the other is the 357mag version and they are both equally good little guns.

My wife tried numerous different CCW's and through trying them all every time she said she was the most comfortable with the Ruger LCR 38spl.
