Happy opening day to my fellow bear hunters! I’m torn, we’re in Hawaii til Monday… I would love to be hunting today, but being here with the family is good! Hope to see some bear pics soon! Hunt safe!
When I inevitably choke to death on gummy bears, I’d simply like it said that I was “killed by bears”, and leave it at that

Did some hunting around Riffe Lake. Saw one. Figured it was a 2024 model, so just a little guy. Nothing worth punching a tag on yet. Should get at least some rain this week.
You'll never get a Big'un if you keep shooting Little'un's.

Last 20 years I haven't seen one in the yard.  Guess I need to get it in gear and head east.  See if I survived the fire.  Time to start target shooting before everything opens up.
Economy failure = Too many people spending money they don't have on things they don't need to impress people they don't like.
