I'm confident enough in their CS for this particular product to be a guinea pig. And with Form's involvement in the design I'm also confident that it will perform as promised.

The scope rings that failed so bad they had to be discontinued and customers issued refunds were also “Form tested and approved”.

Take a listen to their podcast they talked about the more suppressors they sell on this run they can invest in more machines to make more suppressors faster. I think thats likely the reason they can't use the silencershop platform as it was intended.  The products they are making are different/awesome enough that people are willing to do it, so more power to them. To be clear I am not rooting against them and hope the can is successful enough that I can buy one on silencershop one day  :chuckle:

The rokstok drop they just did was a very similar 90 day lead time deal. They would have to front the money to stocky's otherwise. Maybe someday it will be that you can just order one and it shows up in two days like all the other stuff I have bought from them  :dunno:
and don't forget, you can order a rifle build on the raven action right now even though they still haven't made one :chuckle:

did you ever get your rokstok?
I did. Got it on May 7th. Between the .223, .243, and 6x284 norma I've got about 550ish rounds on it. I really wanted to hate it but its becoming one of my favorites. Shooting literally as I type this  :chuckle:
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

That just sounds like typical business practice...using revenue from product sales to purchase more equipment to meet demand. Though, from what I can tell, that second printer purchase isn't going to be necessary haha. Seems like a lot of folks are waiting for the larger OD/ID version and/or further testing in either the TBAC Summit or by Pew.

I'm with you on the Rokstok debacle. Hindsight is 20/20 and all, but yeah never should have been a pre-order.

Haha I did hear they got a couple custom build orders. To be fair, I don't see them advertising builds with it yet. Guess you can call and custom order anything though.

I must have missed this one. I thought they sunk a good chunk of change into a ring design that failed and was never brought to market. Premier rings came after that.

It was a hinged design that came to market, failed, and then they scrapped the hinged design and came out with the Premier Rings.

Ahh found the old thread on those. Seems like they made it right.

Got the OG in hand pretty quick, about a 3-business day stamp approval.

Played musical cans today. Didn't quite have the lineup of cans I hoped we would...excuses, excuses..."it's my son's birthday" and "my wedding is in 4 weeks, we need to plan"  :chuckle:

Shooter's preference (me):
1. OG
2. Nomad
3. Evo
4. A-10
5. Alaskan

The OG, Nomad and Evo could all be tied for 1st on sound alone. Really splitting hairs on those rankings. The tone thing is real though, the OG has that hollow "thunk" they've been talking about. I think it is represented a bit through the GoPro mic, not so much the iPhone. The A-10 was "crackier" to me than those three, and the Alaskan was both loud and cracky. I didn't really want to rank the OG first, but if I could only keep one it would be the OG. My offhand shooting also noticeably improved in the Rokslide 20 shot shooter drill with it.

Spotter's preference:
1. A-10
2. OG
3. Nomad
4. Evo
5. Alaskan

The microphones on the GoPro and iPhone don't capture the differences in the audio signatures well at all...but we took the footage so might as well put it together.
