This tracking spreadsheet from 2024 is helpful. Buddy is #1270 so we’re looking at some OTC tag options so he can still make the trip. Only one out of six that didn’t draw (3 big game combo, 3 deer only)

My buddy is at 28 on the deer combo. He should get notice as soon as they fire up sales I would think. He was the only one of us that didn’t draw this year so that will make a clean sweep! Good luck to you guys on the list. Some years it can go pretty deep and others not so much.

Better odds of drawing a desert unit tag in WA I'd say haha. I think in 2023 they got close to #500 but those guys were getting reached out to in like, November.

I am confused? I thought the application process was open until 07/15 and they randomized after that.  A couple years ago I was excited to be #119 then they randomized after that and ended up 1200 or so.  The number shown is your current status or will they randomize after the 15th?

The alternate lists closed on June 30th, the surplus lists are open until July 15th.

Pretty slow moving

I was sitting at 250 (roughly) for the Deer Combo alternates list in 2022. And I was told that was a good spot… never got the email.

Yeah, I’m shocked at how slow it is moving now, although it started earlier this year I feel, will pick up again as we go.

I started out in the low two hundreds and today I'm #58. Its been moving 20-30 spots a week, last week only 8

After the 1st of September it usually grinds to a standstill with very minimal movement. Past the date of 80% refund. Then halfway through the rifle season it picks up a bunch. Not that there is tons of tags, but guys start turning down the tags by the bunches because they can’t make plans that fast.
