Moose Hunt - Mt. Spokane North - Late Season Advice
« on: October 17, 2025, 10:36:42 AM »
I'm fortunate enough to have a Moose Tag for the Mt. Spokane North unit. I'm hoping someone who has hunted this unit later in the season can give me some advice on the general strategy they found successful and what type of areas they were able to find Moose. We hunted the early part of the season without much success even seeing Moose. We did a mixture of driving the roads and hiking back behind gates. We tried calling with almost no success. One of the challenges of this particular unit is that there is not a lot of land you can drive on; most of the land open to hunting is behind close gates. It was particularly warm when we hunting and there was a full moon so that probably factored into the challenges of find the Moose in the open.
