Nevada bull hunt 2025
« on: July 08, 2025, 07:48:43 AM »
I drew an elk tag in Nevada, later rifle season dates. I took a scouting trip over the 4th of July weekend with my 9 and 10 year old sons. Here’s some pics from the trip for your enjoyment. I’ll update once the season gets here as well.

Speaking with a local rancher he said those bulls will probably be pretty close to the same area come November. Seems like the bulls come down low(7-8000’) to rut, then head back up to 10,000+ until the snow really pushes em down. I’ve spent most of my time in Idaho hunting between 5000’ & 8000’ so this 10,000’+ stuff is new to me but I also have a Utah muzzy deer tag that is gonna get me into some real high country as well.

Leaving when I get off work Thursday night. Opener is Friday morning. Hopefully I can tag out this weekend so my wife doesn’t kill me for missing Thanksgiving
