Electronic call
« on: November 25, 2007, 11:08:16 PM »
trying to get some feedback on the phantom pro series. I seen they have a number of cards you can upgrade the unit. are they very durable worth the $269 asking price?

No I was also looking at some of the foxpro units also they come with pre programed sounds .  just not sure durability of either unit. or quality of sound/

I have not called a bear in with an Ecall, hand calls only for me so far. But site member Bobcat has called in a couple with an electronic call.

FoxPro and Minaska have excellent customer service, probably the best in the outdoor industry.
My buddy just ordered the Scorpion from FoxPro.

Thats hilarious. I cant justify my wife spending over a hundred bucks on a haircut, and she thinks any hunting gear I buy is ridiculously expensive. I figure my swarovskis equaled 9 of her haircuts. Guess what, I still have the same pair of swaro's and she still needs to get her hair done!  :dunno: :chuckle:

Ha!I love it Ya I like the hair cut  reasoning . I shave my own head  figure that saves me $15. Ya Its not pretty but hell I wear a hunting cap year round anyways. . I'm really looking now at the FX3 That's allot of hair cuts . I went to the foxpro web and seen some of the post and like how they say too keep them out of the rain Ya good luck around here on that.

:) I and ]many other users have gotten the Foxpros of various models wet, Bearman for one, They cant say they are "water proof" casue none are. but normal rain is no problem. or sitting them in the snow.
I have the scorpian model, really like it. Right now they have a great deal on 416's. they hold 16 sounds but you can change them easy with your computer. So you could have lots of sounds and change tehm for various game.

I believe the FoxPro Scorpion is probably the finest call on the market. It is mid-range at $499.00 and will hold hundreds of sounds. The remotes is fantastic with pre-sets for sounds and volume.
Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.
