We had a stretch where we were disposing of about 15-20 a year but I think we finally drove them out or got them all.  Haven't seen any for a couple of years at the house.  Don't know that I could handle the smell though - something about skunk gives me the dry heaves at the slightest smell. :chuckle:

Same with me...15-20 per year for a few years, didnt know I could get paid for the hides.  I got a few cases of beer for it but not actual cash  :chuckle:   Between the trapping and home encroachment they are definitely not as prolific as in the past.

Kind of a recent trend. They started using them to make Shtreimels. Hats traditionally worn by married orthodox Jewish men. They are just using the tails to my understanding.
