Hello guys/ladies,

I drew a cow tag for 328/329. This is the early archery hunt.. My camp will be in 328 on the backside of Mission. Unfortunately the younger and stronger family members no longer come on our hunts. That leaves 4 to 6 old guys not necessarily suited to packing meat. I used to be the strongest packer until I had a hereditary disease called Alports syndrome affect me. My kidneys no longer work and I have to do dialysis 3 times a week for 4 hours per session.. I get winded walking up a flight of stairs. I have been able to hunt by moving extremely slowly to climb the hills. one or two steps then stop to catch air and study the terrain..I try to hunt pinch points so I can sit because I cannot really do run and gun hunting.

I am trying to find a packer service I can have on call or some young strong gents that would be able to be on call when I shoot a cow..I will be hunting on and off from Sept 6th to the 13th. I would be willing to pay a retainer of $200 that would be up front and non refundable. If I do not shoot an elk you would keep the $200.. If I do kill Ill pay $400 for the retrieval.. This is not per person but a total the Packers would split..Provided the Packers will be able to come to me and pack before the meat would spoil.. no cutting required. We are all experienced butchers and can handle the breaking down of the meat.. Most hunts are within a 2 mile area to pack with one creek crossing. If interested please respond and I Will be in touch.  Thank you Scott

Good luck. My suggestion would be hunt closer to a road if you aren’t able to pack.  Congrats the tag
Happiness is being in the woods!!!
