Leupold rds muzzle loader zero stop question
« on: August 14, 2025, 07:15:40 PM »
I for the life of me can not get the zero stop on my Leupold rds muzzleloader red dot.
This is not my first zero stop set up, so I’m not entirely an idiot. I think the bdc turret is missing something. Can someone who has this also take a photo of the inside of the elevation turret?  I have no pin or anything in it to make contact with the zero stop. Do you need to get the custom bdc turret to get the zero stop or ?

Update, I’m not an idiot, completely at least. Called Leupold this morning. The dial it comes with does not have zero stop, so the free custom dial is needed to get that.
Hope this helps someone.

Drill the factory turret cap and put a pin in it.  I've done it on factory turrets caps on VX2 3-9x40 scopes.  There was a big tutorial on it over on 24 Hour Campfire.

I was going to do that. But they’re sending me one that’s still just moa adjustment with the zero stop for free
