They are coming
CQ is absolutely bonkers right now...
20-30 an hour is the norm.

Interesting…. We were in Neah Bay from the 31st to the 7th and while the Coho fishing was awesome I think we averaged maybe two pinks a day.  We trolled mostly in the upper 80’ of water so maybe they were deeper?

Im thankful they werent heavy around westport yet. Only caught two this week. They are a pain when you want silvers and kings.

75-150 on the rigger
But that's where we are finding everything
Some very healthy kings running the same line...
Deep water...allot of people still trolling shallow are missing out.

Browns point was slow from the shore, but boats jigging did decent.

Four pinks found their way into this bag.  I have been working through jerky recipes, found one I like quite a bit.  I did use good soy sauce which certainly improves the taste.

The worst one so far was Hank Shaw's recipe which was a real shocker as his recipes are usually stellar.  It is salty beyond belief even when I reduced the marination time from six hours to one and rinsed it really well.

Wasn’t great on the incoming this morning, but minute the ebb got going they pretty much started jumping in the boat. Three of us got our twelve from 7 - 8:30.  At times it felt like Bloody Decks in my 15 footer.  We jigged up three jumpers, caught the others on the troll at 40’. Between oil docks and meadow.

I hate them swimming that deep. Last time was swiftsure and we couldn't get past them

Any Captain Dan's out there today?

I would bet if you watched Everett long enough you would see a 10' Boston Whaler head out.  They seem to be among the bravest seamen out there.

My kids are absolutely out of control excited about getting out after them. I drive over the 522 Bridge every morning for work and haven't seen any jumping yet. But this rain should bring a few in for the 23rd opener.

I was just above the Donkey hole on the lower Sky yesterday hanging out with the family on a private farm beach and they were boiling, the really deep hole with the rocky outcropping. We call it the "Silver Mine"
