Best 20 degree and under sleeping bags?

Gonna pull the trigger on a new bag for this fall/winter. What is everyone using?

I have an Enlightened equipment Down quilt, but I’ve found sleeping in good puffy pants and coat, makes any bag warm.  The down quilt weighs nothing, just need a good pad.

another vote for a quilt. I have an enlightened equipment 20 degree quilt and it is crazy how warm it is. They are spendy but worth it

I've been using a cheap ultralight 40° bag for a number of years down to 18° degrees outside. I never sleep very good and my feet are always cold but I haven't died yet!

I said I would get a new bag before bear season and here we are, bear season eve with the same bag.

If backpacking or tent camping, I love my Feathered Friends down sleeping bag.  Their store is downtown Seattle next to the REI store.  Or can just buy online.

I have the Big Agnes Lost Ranger 3N1. It’s a quilt and a bag that can be used in tandem. I have the 0 degree system which is a 40 degree quilt and a 20 degree bag. Use them independently or together…together they are O degree. I have used it all 3 ways and love it. Very light weight as well…3 lb 11 Oz. I believe the 15 degree system is 2 lb 12 Oz.

I have spent about 40 nights of spring bear hunting April/May in the bag with no issues. A few of those night were in the teens.

We've used 2 of these for a couple seasons now...they are nice, and very warm.

We just got back a couple weeks ago from a tent camping lake trip up at 4500ft elev and our air mattress failed. We ended up spending the night on the ground in just these bags and I was fine. Nighttime temps were low/mid 40's. The wife is always cold no matter what so her claims of 'freezing to death' should be taken with a grain or two of salt.

Another vote for the enlightened equipment down quilt.  I have the long wide 0 degree and it still weighs nothing.  Pair that with and Xped down mat and you are gonna be warmer than you probably need to be.

I use two flannel bags and it takes me down under freezing comfortably. $45 each

I love my quilt, but those old rectangular flannel bags are awfully cozy.  Put them on a double open cell foam pad and I sleep better than at home.

If you aren’t packing it’s really hard to beat an old school canvas flannel lined 5 lb sleeping bag. If you are back packing that is definitely NOT the bag to use though.

I wouldn't say it's the best bag because I haven't tried them all but I picked up a Cabela's Outfitter -20 on sale and slept comfortably in it down to -7. I appreciate that it's a bigger bag so I don't feel like I'm sleeping in a straitjacket. Wouldn't want to carry it very far, however.
