Might be because the last few years on here anyone posting a bear success pic on the first couple days of season got multiple comment’s basically accusing them of baiting.

Haven't been out as much as I should. I saw a 2024 model opening weekend but nothing mature or at least worth tagging.  Looking for big this year.
You'll never get a Big'un if you keep shooting Little'un's.

No success on opening weekend for me. Hoping to check out more timber land in the next few weeks before going into the alpine.

Thats sad that it happens. I call it jealousy.  Alot of hunters do there homework an get it done. Others that complain sit on there ass an have alot to say to the successful hunters. Laying blame all sorts of ways. More support an congrats are in order instead of judgement in my opinion

We had a small group up for the opener. The weather was so off I’m not sure what happened. We didn’t see anything moving. Lots of different berry types coming in to production so we’ll give it another try this weekend. Did quite a bit of scouting this last weekend so hopefully it pays off and we’ll have one to post on Monday. Good luck to the rest of you!
