Big ol’ sow
« on: August 09, 2025, 07:02:44 PM »
Seen this bear the other day and never really did get a good shot opportunity in the hell hole it was living in. Got another look last evening and made it happen. Big old dry sow, 245 lbs. killed longer sows but never heavier. I’ve had my share of sticker bushes for a while!

Nice bear! Way to go!!
When I inevitably choke to death on gummy bears, I’d simply like it said that I was “killed by bears”, and leave it at that

Congrats. One of my fastest bears was a big sow. Not a huge bear but had a good 6” of fat, probably Right around that 300# mark. Of course with bears weight is mostly a factor of fat not size.
