AUCTION: 1 ton of livestock feed (poultry, cattle, pig)
« on: August 15, 2025, 08:53:04 AM »
@nwwanderer ,of Meenach farms, has donated 1 ton of feed, value approximately $500 depending on mix and price fluctuations.
They are located just South of Spokane.

100% of the proceeds from the winning bidder will be donated to the GENESIS PROJECT.
(donation to be made direct by the winner)

ABOUT THE GENESIS PROJECT:
The Genesis Project exists to help girls and women out of prostitution and sex trafficking. It was started about 15 years ago by a King County Sheriff's Deputy who wanted to help rather than just arrest girls.

I've been involved with this organization since near it's inception, and can attest to the need and value of their work. Bid with confidence knowing that you are making a difference and your livestock will eat well.

Because this is a bit of a unique item, I'd ask any of you to please contact anyone around Spokane that you know who might be interested in this cause and this product. Thanks!

This auction ends Sunday August 24, at 5:00 PM.

Is the feed for specific livestock? I an too far away to bid any only have chickens but thought more details might help the auction.

Could also be every one else knows what is being auctioned and I am just a dummy.  :chuckle:
In God we trust, all others bring cash.

Do not say, Why were the old days better than these? For it is not wise to ask such questions.

Hey Bobby,
He will mix for cattle, pigs or chickens (or probably most anything else, but we'd want to ask) as the winner desires.

He routinely mixes for all of these.
They have an animal nutritionist in the family who works the vitamin/mineral mixes.

I'm out of my depth in answering any more questions, but I'm sure nwwander can answer anything.

Thanks!

If I still raised animals I'd certainly be down. Great program to support!

We can make most anything grain/protein based, heck, can even get hay if that is what is needed!!!  Mix your own?  How about roasted soy beans or a protein premix?  Your call

Sounds like a great donation!  Question:  Could it be split 80-20 or something or all one type (i.e. 400# of beef supplement and 100# of chicken)?

In for $200 either way.

Sure, mix and match to meet your needs.  We make what you need, not what the feed store has

Just FYI, this is for a TON of feed.
(your math only went to 500 lbs.  Just wanted to be clear).
