Some Elk in June
« on: June 28, 2009, 05:58:12 PM »
Just checked my trail cam today. Had around 100 pics on it. The elk were pretty curious, lots of close up shots that you can't make out because they were smelling the camera. They ended up turning my camera quite a bit. Mostly cows, a spike and raghorn bulls.

Stop using apple cover scent on the camera and they won't get quite so close  :chuckle:. Cool pics and elk bumping the camera is much better then bears chewing it  :bdid:.

Not sure if a bear was messing with my camera or not, but I have some pictures of some critter that was there first messing with the cam. Could be the reason why the elk were interested in my camera, usually they don't even go up to it.

What ever is in the picture looks like it has a lot more hair than an elk's summer coat right now. Could it be a bear sniffing around my camera?  :dunno:

Cool pics! :)
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
