My first cartridge
« on: September 09, 2025, 08:01:18 PM »
This is the first cartridge I’ve loaded up on my own gear, in my own garage.  I did a small little bit of loading on  another persons bench, but now I’m glad to have my own.  For this hunting season I’m only loading what I know, what I have experimented with in my rifle… but boy am i excited to do my own experimenting!

Sorry about the sideways photo, not really sure how to make that not happen.

Nice.  It's a hobby unto itself.  I enjoy loading as much as shooting.

It’s a fun hobby to get into. I load everything I shoot, pistol, rifle and shot shells all gauges and lengths.

I've been loading my own for a little over 57 years.  It's a great hobby and very rewarding when you connect rounds you loaded on game you pursue or targets in competition.  I still am learning and it's still fun.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

It does give you a sense of accomplishment when you do it yourself and it Works.

Reloading is a ton of fun!!   My shooting ability and accuracy greatly improved when I started rolling my own.  Great hobby!!

Nice! Its good to know all the ammo you are hunting with is all the same. You made it, you know what's in it. Well done.

Congrats! You have completed your dive into the rabbit hole!
Like I always tell people, “You will not save money loading your own because you will shoot more and buy more gear.”
It is enjoyable to do and it will most likely make you a better shooter.
