I remember being quite young, eight or nine in the late 70’s, and my Pops took me to meet Fred Bear at West Town Archery in Milwaukee. I remember his face and demeanor. My recollection was he was kind and excited to see America’s youth involved in hunting. Killed my 1st whitetail buck at 15 with a Bear bow…Good memories…
