Closed because of one thing, "Legibility"  USFS will be sued at the drop of a hat for anything that "might" happen.

Fires are being used, now because "they" can get some things DONE and not be sued by Eco-Freak groups.  Blewit is being closed just for that basic reason, falling hazard trees.  Had not a fire been burning, the DOT would have so many hoops to jump through to get what needed DONE!

Yep, elections and indoctrination have consequences!!
The only good tree, is a stump!

With the government shut down it doesn’t seem these national-forests roads will be opened up for modern.  If they don’t have anyone to open them, will they have anyone to enforce closures?!?! Asking for a friend?

Will not surprise me one bit if several gates get "opened"
Would not surprise me either.

Was closed at bottom of ERV, and just after Pot Peak/Tree farm road on 25 mile side.
There was a news release out that said all the Pomas closure area was rescinded believe that for what it’s worth from the forest circus.
The webpage is always way behind and good luck calling any of the Ranger districts they hardly ever answer their phones
