Following. I'm heading to central MT the first week of November with a young setter fresh out of bird dog school. I need to get him into wild birds as much as I can. Bird contacts galore. But I'm hearing very mixed results from guys returning. I'm primarily after sharpies, and I've heard it's poor this year, so far. Next target are huns. I'll be curious to hear how the latest reports are. I'm thinking about hunting around Lewistown, Malta, maybe even as fs as Scobey. If everything is in the toilet I'll try Idaho for quail.
