I don't want to get into the debate on if cell cams should be legal or not.  But the fact the commission asked for public input then disregarded it really torques me.  Why waste everyone's time?

So since the commission ended up doing what they wanted against what the majority said.  What is to stop people from using them anyway?  How would they know who's camera it is unless they sit there and wait for you to show up?  I am not one to break laws but this issue is pretty petty.  If the commissions doesn't want to listen to the hunters then why listen to the commissioners?
100%%%%%%%    Nailed it!!!   That's why I debate people that just get in line, put the mask on, get the shot......   When our commission, who is anti hunter obviously comes up with stupid laws, why listen?   Like the no baiting deer and elk in western wa, friggin stupid as F.  Who listens to people that have zero credibility???
“In common with”..... not so much!!

I think hunting in Idaho will slowly end up mirroring WA/OR.

That is what worries me about moving there, or even MT??  Maybe Wyoming will have the vaccine to keep democrats away???  What is really messed up, is most on this forum agree wdfw is ran by a bunch of anti hunting democrats, yet I bet, at least 1/3 on here are democrats that keep voting the same but bitching about it.  What is the definition of insanity???

I'm not advocating removing scopes etc and had accepted the fact they are going to prohibit these technologies,  more irritated that they ask for the surveys,  receive overwhelming support to maintain the status quo and just dismiss the respondents.  Merry Christmas my friend!!!

i agree 100 percent on that.  They ask our opinion and do the opposite. Thats BS

The comment periods are likely required as part of the rulemaking process and I'm not bothered at all by the commission ignoring the comments. If I say that I'm opposed to ballot box management why would I favor management by popular opinion. Hunters are often outnumbered by antis during comment periods if it's just down to keeping score.
I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies

In November U.S. manufacturing contracted for the the ninth consecutive month. Layoffs across the economy are higher than anytime since the pandemic in 2020 and I just read that the Midwest farmers will be receiving a 12B bailout due to 50 year trade relationships being destroyed. I have to admit that I was a sceptic and didn't believe in the effectiveness in tariffs but I'm a believer now.
