I killed a 3x2 this evening in 654 that was tearing up a scotch broom plant, neck not swollen and rear leg glands just starting to darken.

I stopped for a doe and fawn that were crossing the road out near Lacey on Tuesday afternoon.  They crossed the road without issue, but from the brush came a huge 3 point running full tilt in front of me, straight into the side of the car that had stopped in the oncoming lane.  He hit the car's driver door head first at full speed and laid himself out on the ground before bounding off no worse for wear.  One of the weirder things I've seen a deer do.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

Saw a 3x2 yesterday across from Marysville Cabelas standing 10 yards behind a doe while she ate. He looked like he was just following her and waiting

Had a huge 3 point cruise across our property around 6PM last night.  Looked like he was on a mission.  No other deer in sight and nothing pushing him.

Not much sign of rut in Olympia. Couple tiny rubs in places that have lots of rubs every year.

I went out Friday.  Weather still too nice, but has since changed.  Hopefully see some deer moving.  This is for the Shelton area.

Had not seen a buck for 6 months. Had three today pass by at different times with there noses to the ground. No mounting of does but their interest is peaking. We are close and they are definitely getting interested and moving. I think the change in weather is helping.

Burned a tag on a spike by 2 yesterday. For a wdfw project, and a mentee instructional course on field dressing et all. That deer was literally pushing a doe just before he was harvested.

Had a spike show up at my place yesterday and was putting on his teenage idiot show around my does and fawns. Lip curling, neck posturing and running everyone off them around the corner of the field.

Saw a decent forkie (might have been a 3x3) moving around three does this morning in 627.  Also saw two does dead on the side of the road that weren’t there when I drove in to work.
