Found the rub in the background a few days ago on my property, so set up a camera on it. Just got this video 10 minutes ago.

Rain helped with noise and scent cover, but that and wind had them hunkered down pretty tight in my area.  The buck i killed was with 2 does and not super smelly yet, but glands were open. They were hanging in a pocket and the other deer I saw today barely moved. I think the next few days are going to be good for movement.  I hope so would like to get my niece on one.

You should put a cam on them... They'll rub them every year till they die...
I love you... I really do...

We’ve seen 13 deer today. Only buck was a spike all by himself.

I killed a buck today cruising the timber crossing a road at about 9:15. My buddy sent me pics of 3 giants killed in the last 2 days. The weather has been perfect.

Seen one doe today so far, she was all alone. Bounced one deer about 10’ away but too thick to see anything.  Thought today would be magical !

Haven’t been worried about my life like tonight in a long time!! Had to run to a clear cut while trees were snapping in half!  The wind must have kicked up to 60 mph around 5 tonight for about 5 minutes of complete chaos!!  Hope you all are ok there!
