I sure wish this was next year when I’m retired, I’d love to help. But, there are many more people out there who know waaaaay more than me, I hope they chime in.

Got nothing here. You should be able to find him one from the road

Should be a lot of folks out for late buck, maybe someone will see something then and chime in.
I'd be out and a set of eyes, but they just closed cougar seasons.
If I do see something,I'll pm ya.

My advise
Drive, drive, drive ,cover as many miles as you can.
Good weather days, hit some glassing from roads.
Good luck out there 👍

You might call Buck Canyon Lodge and ask Rick if he has any ideas

Matt Alwine knows where a pretty good one is, he posted it on instagram. I’d just message him on instagram and tell him you have a tag.

See if Matt would video it.  He's got the skills.

The more ground you can cover in a day, the better chance you have of spotting one. Keep driving the roads at prime times and you will find one. Glass the open areas and try calling during the day. That unit has some real nice bulls so be persistent.

It’s been a few years now, and I know there have been some burns in that area, but last time I was up there we saw 3 good bulls in the same area. Take the Springdale / Hunter road to the top of the pass, turn right and follow those roads south to the edge of the Spokane Rez. There is a road that kinda follows the rez border, dipping in and out of it. Saw two together and one masher alone, all off the rez. Might be worth a shot……..OnX is your friend on this one!

Should still be able to access to state and BLM from the east a bit further than mentioned above from Springdale-hunters and get down into that burn country.
