which model/caliber?  I've been looking at the macavity MA2 for raccoon control in .30 -- generates about 80 ft-lbs

Air Arms s510 XS Stealth .25 cal

The scope is 25 years old and has never been on a gun.  A buddy gave it to me about 15 years ago.

Nice.  Is it just for fun or specific purpose?  Up front costs of the rifle and compressor are steep, but then it seems like it's almost shooting for free...and quiet

Definitely not a BB gun .... but those modern big bore pellet guns are no joke.

I am going to use it for shooting pigeons and rats in dairy sheds and around feed lots and pellet plants… if I ever get to.  My kids will probably hog it and I’ll still be using my R10 & HW80.

The Tasco Custom Shop 8-40x56 scope was pretty highly regarded by field target shooters back in the day.  It was given to me and has never been on a gun.  A friend gave it to me about twenty years ago and I put it up in the top of my closet.

I didn’t know what I bought until after I bought it.  I called a buddy and told him what I was offered and how much and he said Hang up and Buy It!

It’s pretty nice.  Real accurate.  It’s not the most powerful, but it’s got plenty for our purposes.  I have a new variable to mid 20 power Meopta with illuminated reticle I might swap onto it instead.  We will see how we like it set up this way.  It’s pretty big.

I guess some of the latter Tasco Custom Shop scopes were kinda sketchy.  This one was made in Japan by Hako and optically it isn’t bad.  So long as it tracks, it should be good.
