People I know that live on the river road said traffic seemed to be about normal. Success rate, I haven’t gotten any reports.

I assumed it would all be closed with the Sugarloaf fire, even if it wasnt in the general area.

3/4 of it is closed due to SL & Pomas…….which hasn’t seen fire in months. Glad they kept it closed up valley though.
Last weekend the big camp at bottom of Preston was full, saw zero hanging.

Just got back last night. It was busier than I’ve ever seen it. Saw some doe’s, no legal bucks. I know of a few small bucks killed, but that’s it. I assume the additional people were due to the fires. We hunted Mud, Potato, from the bottom to the top of stormy. This was by far the worst I’ve seen it up there in the 20+ years I’ve been hunting there. Just my  :twocents:
