Pack wheel

Looking for opinions on the electric pack wheel.  Who has one? I'm considering one as a age and begin to be less capable than I once was. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

A buddy picked one up last month. He put it to work, he said up hill it’s a little slow but going down hill it’s awesome and easy to control.

I had one for 3 years packed deer, elk , and a bear on it has its place and definitely pretty neat but loading always seamed tougher than necessary, meat bags  on each side always needed to be balanced which was not easy, found with deer just to run it into the cavity and strap head to bars helped, that would and could not work on a good size bear. All
In all good tool but for the money I believe an electric game cart would be better now

Look like a major pain to load and get going. Top heavy. The price is crazy!

Never used one but they do look clumsy and top heavy.  I’d rather use a wheelbarrow.  Is an e-wheelbarrow a thing?

The all terrain electric wagons are an interesting thought.  I don't think operating on a single track would be an option though.  Electric Wheelbarrow would take up similar trail to a wagon.

No issues with being top heavy? Western Washington or eastern? Any first hand feedback is appreciated.  I'm struggling with the price point but really like the idea and single track footprint.

Actually, the wheelbarrow works well on single track.  The photo I posted was at the top of 2-mile single track.  The only problem getting it there was the up, up, up part.  An e-wheel would make that a lot easier. 

The single wheel tracks the trail well and it isn’t too wide.  But it did require modification so the front brace doesn’t dig into the ground; particularly when going uphill.  I removed the front brace, relocated the wheel as far forward as possible, and relocated the brace behind the wheel.  Issue solved.

Hmmm  … this might be just the ticket to get decoys from here to there:

He didn’t say anything about it being top heavy, but looking at the photos I can see it being like a wheelbarrow in that regard. They packed in multiple miles, had a fresh battery on the way in and a fresh battery on the way out. Having a small fish scale is a must to keep the load balanced. Having a brake system really helped navigate downhill.

Apparently it is legal on NF trails as it is considered non-motorized.
