Looking to buy a new rifle in 7mm Rem Mag. Curious if anyone has any input on the topic would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve had a couple of Weatherby vanguards and I’ve liked them.
I’ve never had a browning x bolt, but I understand they’re fine gun.

I personally for my 7mag went with a Christensen Ridgeline, and it’s a very good shooting gun

Man ive got an xbolt in .270. Tack driver. Everytime i go to sight in that rifle I fire it 3xs and I'm 1.5" high at 100 yards, dead on at 200 and 2.5" low at 300. This is shooting 137gr. My go to rifle for deer. Love it.

I know its not the 7mm but if the 270 shoots this well then I'd have no doubt the 7mm shoots just as well.

Have both and there is no comparison, the X-Bolt is very superior!

Xbolt! But if you’re planning on putting a suppressor on make sure you get one with 5/8x24 threads.
Shut up and Hunt!

As far as ready to hunt off the shelf Browning seems to understand what modern hunters are wanting more than anyone else in that price range. Took me a while to find the configuration I wanted in stock and I had to settle for the color I didn't necessarily want but im so happy with my setup. That extra time it took to track down my rifle I was able to decide why 7PRC was a better choice for me than the 7Rem so it all worked out.

Two different price points and it is for a reason.  I have nothing against the Weatherby, I have a couple and *censored* pretty damn good.  I also have an X bolt Health Canyon, and it is fast becoming my favorite rifle.   Fit and feel is pretty amazing although fit and feel are vastly different amongst different shooters.

Go look at a couple and shoulder them a few times and figure out what fits you the best.  Lot of great rifles out there these days at that price point.

Depending where you look Browning gets a lot of hate, but my personal experience has shown accurate results every time.
