Recommendations for Pressure Washers
« on: October 22, 2025, 04:32:42 PM »
Been many years since I needed to buy one but the time has come. Minimum of 3100 PSI but also don't require this for commercial use. Walkways, dirt bikes, sport courts, etc. Anyone have the 3400 Westinghouse one on Amazon? I understand how to maintain them just want a reliable one that starts when kept up correctly. I had my last one for 10 years or more. Thank you for any help. Gas not electric

The only recommendation I have is to buy one that you can easily maintain.  Most residential models are designed for about 20-30 hours of lifetime.  If you can fix (replace) the mechanical pump you can keep it running forever for a reasonable cost.  If not, you will go through many.  Look for details on what pump they use and see if there are replacement parts available.

I bought the least expensive one with replaceable parts and a Honda engine.

 :yeah:

I did the same, I went with a Homelight 3200 PSI, with a 4-Stroke Honda motor.
I run ethanol free gas only, and it is 12 years old and going strong.

I also added an 18” surface cleaning attachment (round with spinning jets) what a difference when cleaning patios or driveways!

I bought one two summers ago from tractor supply, whatever brand they carry. Works like a charm still, I run non E fuel and keep the fuel turned off when not in use. Came with 4 or 5 different tips and a good warranty.

The Honda powered ones at Costco, I’ve had ours probably over 10 years, not a single problem.
