Manastash snow level
« on: November 06, 2025, 12:46:32 PM »
I'm leaving in the morning to take a buddy on a late cow hunt, I think were going to hunt Manastash, an area I know well and if we don't like what we see, we may move over to the Little Naches, an area he knows well. Just wondering if anyone who's been there lately can let me know what to expect for snow?
He's in his 70's with a bum leg so we'll be covering a lot of miles in my rig (4x4). Thanks

I was on Manastash a week and a half ago in the Frost Mountain area. After a few hours on the Saturday opener i had to leave for lower elevations as I was by myself. I left at 3"s with more on the way. I don't know how much they got in that area. Carry chains and you should be fine.

Thank you, got chains and good tires.
Hoping not to have to go higher than Tamarack Springs, haven't been there in November since the 90's and remember having to make some hasty retreats as the snow was piling up fast. The forecast doesn't look threatening so I'm not too worried.
