well us guys in the eastside are tired of the coasties. take a drive to colville or hang out in a local bar and see how well that goes over :chuckle:

Probably about as good as your Washington plates in ID and UT, I'd guess.  :chuckle:

I hate to say it......but.
There kinda is a secret club to being on the dry side.
Certain circles with information are always floating around between folks.
Can't blame a guy for trying to tap into that.
Is what it is.

I'm sure the wet side has some secret circles.
You are in the circle of trust,or your not.

Go over all the time to hunt turkeys never have any problems with folks on the Eastside.  But when I talk about conservation to people we as hunters eat our own that is for sure.  Oh and read your regs  lol.  Even old timers have issue reading WDFW regs.  Anyway back to OP.  There is a late archery season that opened in 101 Monday and it is whitetail buck only.  I stayed at the Winchester RV park.  They have nice little small cabins, also full hookup RV spots, a cook shack and nice showers.  Was very nice.  Met lots of guys there for the Monday opener for whitetail.  They are coming out right at the near the end shooting hours.  Seen lots of does.  Only bucks I saw were mule deer.  Good luck.

Please don’t dig our razor clams, catch our crab or harvest our oysters and steamer clams. Not to mention the off the charts upriver brights in August on the lower Columbia! We all live in the same state . I won’t voice my opinion on the state of our state and I don’t think you own any of the wildlife!

Hey Mikey...hush up about the seafood.  One of these guys is sporting an Alaskan plate.  And I suspect the others are not all local.  Your about to get booted from the club.  Have a great night everyone. :)

This is a smart ass comment but true, one of my grandfathers was born and raised in Republic 1920's-1930's then moved to Spokane, fought in the big war and moved to the west side to be a salmon troller. I started hunting Republic in 1993, but had previously spent summers above Tonasket on my grandfathers (married into) family farm in the early 1970's to mid 1980's as well as hunted a bit there as a kid. My mother in-law lived in Republic from 1992-1998ish. Question, what makes a "local" does having family ties to the area not enough? I understand most live there for a reason and understand why because I would like to live there or SE AK in a small village or town to get away from the masses as well.

Sorry to thread jack but just had questions and wanted to air it out, little tongue in cheek, and actually wondering as well.

Washington born and raised and have fished and hunted just about every corner of it

A lot of people on the East side came from the West side.  But now that they live on the East side that makes them a different person.....  Not everyone on the West side has liberal beliefs, we are just trapped......
