Something to keep in mind: 3” shells have a good number more #4 buck pellets than 23/4 shells. I pull the plug out of the magazine, and screw in a extra full turkey choke.

I have a do it sling shot pellet mould that has an 11 cavity pour and 9 cavity each one ounce. The 11 pour is right between #1&0 buckshot 9 pellets stack nicely in your standard trap load. I pour the shot into the melter and throw in some wheel weights.  The pellets don't spin down the barrel because the shot wad protects them. I've smoked coyotes to 70 yards.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.
