What do I need for elk?

Didn't get a chance to hunt elk during modern season was thinking about giving it a go with muzzleloader was wondering will any muzzleloader get the job done or do I need to be looking for something specific hoping I can find something very affordable AKA cheap 😁

Kind of late to the party even for late season elk if you don't have a muzzleloader yet. Took me 3 trips to the range to find a load I was happy with and could hit anything, your results may vary.

Just get a hawken and use maxi balls with 100 grains of 777... Easy, accurate, cheaper... Put some fiber optics on it...
