Well I know eating before test results or not compliant with testing and eating is still pretty common.
The odds of positive result is very low at the moment.
I can say though, when you see a deer drooling all over itself, walking in circles,no fear of humans.
Then it falls over dead.
Then sits there to rot, crow or coyote won't eat on it. Not one bird or animal will touch it.
You'll know why ,they recommended not eating it till it's tested.

You have to see it ,to believe it.
Again all personal preference, with low case counts at this point.

Sounds more like EHD, which is a real threat unlike CWD
True ,maybe EHD then CWD . Both have very similar symptoms.

Don't like posting much anymore, but when I see a post as naive as that I can't resist. Obviously you've never had experience in area hit by cwd.  I can promise you if that crap takes off in the area you hunt, you'll be looking for a new area soon after. I've seen it, it's devastating.  Our area in Utah went from seeing 150+ deer a day to zero in less than 4 years.
