If your going to use kwick fish use a sardine wrap.  It will outfish the smelly gelly if wrapped correctly.  If you have removed the front hook, wrap a larger piece to offset the weight.  Fishing has started off slow so far.  Saw many good guides on the river with not much luck.  A fish here and there, but not worth the time spent at this point.  The saltwater is producing a lot better.

Getting a late start today. Nothing the last two days and one roller last night.  I have only heard of two fish.  One 10 pounder at gardner and a 36 pounder above spud house. one on spoon and the other on kwickfish. And the Chevy was still stuck last night when I left.

Any new updates on the fishing?  I couldn't make it out today.  Planning on hitting it again next Thursday.

They had a pretty good sized hole dug when we were leaving. Didn't look like it helped much. I'm sure they got out at some point. Just not sure when or how...

Still pretty shady on the ol' Skag.  Fished from 12 to dark today, kwickfish wrap and unrapped, and spinners above spud house.  10 to 15 boats nothing.  Heard of one down on the north fork. Was hopping to give you guys a good report but not the case. Hopefully something buy the end of the weekend.  Out to the salt for some crab and maybe a chinook tommorow.

I heard of a 26lb king that was caught on Friday, other than that not to much else going on.  Still slow with a few fish being caught here and there.  It hasn't been to hot, unless your using a net.

Didn't get out today, but will be out a bunch this weekend with the water getting its green tint back it should be some better fishing water.  Good chunk of pinks showing and heard from some good sources that the NETS did very well with the kings last week and this with the dark water.  Theres fish to be caught hopefully for the last weekend it will pick up a little.

Well no fish for me but then again it is my own fault. Thursday and friday morning were hot for the chinook and I missed it.  Skumpies everywhere yesterday and today. Don't know what big fish was for the derby, best I heard was 28, try again tomorrow. Also got a good Jonas Skagit fishing text today.
