Thanks everyone, I shouldn’t have got him but luck was on my side. He was with a doe and would not leave her, the first shot was 45 yards down hill and I clipped some brush and blew through his ear, he took off but then came back to his girl that I kept close to me. I kept stalking her and stayed about 50 yds from her. 5 minutes later here he comes back up the hill right to her. He stopped broadside at 60 yds so I let it fly and hit branches 20 yds in front of me. He turned on the jets and down the hill he goes over some rocky cliffy ground. His lady just kept feeding so I moved about 15 yds closer towards her where it was a little more open but then here he comes over the rise big black horns coming right back to his lady. he stopped again at 65 yds I shot and Third time was a charm, he went about 70 yds. He’s 28” wide and has 41 4/8” mass.

One more on the ground

That’s quite the compliment, thank you. I’m petty proud of him.

I’m not sure of his age but plan on sending a tooth in. His molars are worn down quite a bit more than two bucks I have that are 7 1/2. I’m thinking he might be at least 8-10?
