Today was a good day to be out, every animal was up and moving around noon today once the rain let up.

That's about where I'm at with elk. I spent a decent amount of time on blacktail and was fortunate to be able to get out on Halloween while the weather was typical rain and wind, deer were walking in the open. I hope you find your quarry.

I knew it would be after the storm but I chose to hang out with my 22mo old granddaughter... I hunt so much I take two days to hang out when the wife watches her. I let a few in Oregon go and saw a few whitetail a couple weeks ago. I have so much meat in the freezers I'm not pressing just hunting for the fun
