MIL if you don’t know or don’t care.
CDS is handy for hunting - if your rf doesnt work your buddy can give you range.
Each dial is good for couple thousand feet elevation.

I personally use moa but wish they were all Mil

Used them both but I prefer mil. Dealing smaller numbers and in tenths rather than quarters is just easier especially in the heat of the moment.

I switched from MOA to MILS and have been liking it. Dialing 3.2 is harder to mess up than 14.25. And no one is shooting the difference in precision of 0.1 MIL adjustments vs 0.25 MOA adjustments so that isn't a factor.

I use wind brackets but don't use quick drop. Rifle is too fast for it and I'm getting a solution from my rangefinder anyway.

I was MIL curious but never fully grasped why others preferred it until I listened to this.

Form is taking over huntwa now?!

I run all MOA, but only because that's what I've always run and don't want to mess with switching over all my rifles. If I had to do it again, I would go MIL.

Talk about missing the forest for the trees. Mils, MOA, whatever you are comfortable/competent with. But don’t use a Vortex (or a Leupold) on a hunting rifle. There’s the best advice you’ll get on this thread.
