Idaho Big Buck Contest
« on: January 10, 2026, 02:46:47 PM »
My 12 year old daughter won the big buck contest for youth girls in St. Maries! Buck scored 116”. The second place buck was only 7/8” smaller. She won a new 10/22 with synthetic stock.

Nice Work!! Did you hear what the Boys winner scored? My son was entered, when he talked to Mom on the phone the first thing he told her, was about the big buck contest he was entered in haha.

Nice Work!! Did you hear what the Boys winner scored? My son was entered, when he talked to Mom on the phone the first thing he told her, was about the big buck contest he was entered in haha.

For the boys, the winner was pretty obvious by looking at the pics. All but one were basket racks. I know he wasn't actually able to come in and score it, they just called it, saying he won based off the pic. I wish they'd of done that for my daughter when she had the big droptine buck  :chuckle: Her buck that year scored 148 and the winner was 105. I just had hers at the taxidermist and didn't want to have him pull it off the mount.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.
